WHO WE ARE?

Hosted by Haliç University, with the support of Faculty of Fine Arts, Haliç University Technology Transfer Office, Media Literacy Association and IKSAD Institute (Institute of Economic Development and Social Research), this year (11-12 November 2022) Social Sciences Congress in the Age of Digital Transformation will be arranged. 

The congress, which will take place on the new campus of Haliç University, which has become a center of attraction in its region, with the intense participation of academics and media experts from 25 different countries, hosted by the university, will also include the 5th Media Literacy Forum, and Digital Expo.

 

 

MEDIA LITERACY FORUM

Media Literacy Association, which set out in 2017 with the slogan of 'Media Literacy from Academy to Family'; Social Sciences Congress in the Age of Digital Transformation will be held within the scope of the 5th Media Literacy Forum and  Forum, in cooperation with professionals from various disciplines, especially its young, qualified, experienced, dynamic team, consultant academics, psychologists, pedagogues and educators. We are happy to be able to organize the Forum and Congress in partnership with Haliç University Technology Transfer Office and Economic Development and Social Research Institute (İKSAD). Within the scope of Media Literacy, it aims to bring together academics who conduct research in this field in our country, employees in the digital field, and university students. Academic papers and the workshop report at the end of the congress will be presented in a national/international edited book.

It creates a new and supportive ground for the digitalization of the education system and the creation of digital policies in our country.

CONGRESS

 

Within the framework of the Science - Sector - Public meeting; The “Social Sciences Congress in the Age of Internet and Digital Revolution”, which will take place on the new campus of Haliç University, addresses the target audience of “Digital Academician, Digital Employee, Digital Youth”. 

On the first day of the congress; Following the inspiring speeches, academic paper presentations will take place. 
On the second day, paper presentations will continue and applied multidisciplinary workshops will take place.

Within the scope of the congress, the 5th Mlf Digital Expo can be visited by all participants.

mlf-DIGITAL EXPO

​

Digital companies producing digital solutions will be featured at the 5th Mlf Digital Expo. Companies working on digitalization and developing solutions in this field can set up stands and at the same time, they can perform service and product promotions by communicating one-on-one with the participants. Likewise, the participants can visit the relevant stands and cooperate with the institution/industry/academy.
